Graphic Concepts for Stories. Ladygin
Hello dribbble kings and queens📦
How do you make your stories more interesting to other people if you're a designer?
Designers often don't have enough time to realize their creative ideas or to be able to apply them to real projects. We designers face specific business challenges, but we also want to play around with innovative design and show ourselves and others what we can do.
I often find interesting references that inspire new design concepts. But sometimes there is not enough time for a full-fledged design of a site or an application. That's when I think of Instagram's Stories feature.
What's the idea?
• In your spare time, choose a reference you like.
• Don't worry about how perfect your design will turn out. The key is to focus on the fact that you're trying something new for yourself. (In fact, if it's a new style, you're unlikely to make a masterpiece).
What are the advantages of this method?
• It doesn't take much time to come up with an idea because you're working with a specific reference.
• You progress as a designer by trying new and unusual design styles.
• You learn to take your decisions as they are, even if they are not perfect.
• This way you can prove yourself better as a designer, rather than being limited to primitive stories with coffee and a laptop.
What can make the job more difficult?
• Finding new fonts.
• An idea for a story. What will be written? What message will be conveyed?
• A long choice of reference (this happens to me a lot).
Try it, create it, get results! 📦
