Drupal Iron Camp

Drupal Iron Camp is an event organized by joint forces from all around Central and Eastern Europe. Our goal is to put this geographical area on the Drupal map.
The work around the whole conference started in October 2014. A spirited discussion emerged as we were starting to create the logo and visual identity which resulted in a brand workshop that has given concrete direction to everything that was going to happen. Even though the Hungarian team was kicking off the event, we considered the points of view of everyone who was involved in the pre-planning process during the workshop, because what we are working on here is supposed to represent the whole region. The result of this branding workshop allowed us to refresh the brand identity so that it represents what we all want to give to the community with organizing this conference.

Our common goal was, and is, to represent the cultural diversity of this region, yet maintain what brings us together in the field of Drupal. We want to hit the scene like a meteor and make an impact on all of the happenings in the Drupal world.

Unfortunately we couldn’t raise enough money to kick off Drupal Iron Camp in 2015, but we are working with all our efforts on making it happen in 2016.
