Box O' Mine is an online platform that offers custom packaging solutions with complete design flexibility. My role involved creating a vibrant and playful brand identity, designing an appealing website, and creating the platform tool, which enables users to design their custom boxes.

The product empowers users to create personalized branded packaging tailored to their specific requirements effortlessly. Through the platform, business owners can design packaging that reflects their brand identity without minimum order restrictions. The result will be a product they have personally crafted, fostering a strong emotional connection.

By utilizing this innovative platform, users can save valuable time and eliminate the arduous and frustrating processes involved in traditional packaging production. The product aims to greatly enhance the final stage of the delivery process, particularly in Israel, by offering a user-friendly and streamlined solution for branding packaging. This opportunity allows small and medium-sized e-commerce businesses in Israel to package their products in a way that was previously exclusive to larger brands. By simplifying and making this option accessible, it paves the way for a new packaging standard in the Israeli market.

Branding & Product Design Challenges

One of the main challenges in the branding process is striking a balance between creative freedom and the constraints of fixed templates and packaging formats. The objective is to showcase that each package can have a unique design tailored to the user's brand rather than a generic one. Creating diverse design patterns for each package was a central idea in branding.

The logo features a 3D symbol, representing the platform's capability to design packaging in 3D. Each wig in the logo is dyed differently, symbolizing the available customization options.

Ensuring users a seamless and consistent brand experience is another challenge in branding. This involves maintaining visual and messaging consistency across different platforms, such as the website and communication materials.

Additionally, the product targets multiple audiences, including owners of small to large commercial websites, graphic designers, sales promotion companies, and private individuals. Each audience's design and technological needs differ, requiring the branding and platform to adapt accordingly. The platform is designed to showcase packaging in both 3D and 2D, which presented technical and logical challenges that needed to be resolved while keeping the user experience simple and user-friendly.

Working with two languages, English and Hebrew, posed another challenge. The brand name is in English, while the remaining texts are in Hebrew, such as on the website. Ensuring typographic compatibility between the English logo and Hebrew texts required careful consideration and design choices.
