BYO Jamaica
The BYO Jamaica initiative was a collaborative effort by a diverse group of organizations and individuals with the common goal of reducing single-use plastic waste in Jamaica. The initiative, driven by this site, encouraged Jamaicans to bring their own multi-use beverage containers when buying drinks on-the-go.
The website I planned, developed and managed served as a one-stop platform for raising awareness about the BYO Jamaica initiative and its goals. It successfully integrated two important concepts by featuring information on how individuals and businesses could get involved while also highlight the existing partners involved in the initiative which included local businesses, NGOs, and government agencies.
