PROCESS

1. Received brief from client which included current banners to coordinate with, color palette, description of ministries the banners will represent, and overall goals and desire for the banners

2. Brainstormed icon designs for each ministry and vectored the best set for client approval

3. Sourced and edited photos for unified backgrounds across the banners

4. Created mosaic borders in brand colors

5. Prepped the files for print and sent off to client

CHALLENGES

1. The direction was fairly complex: they wanted custom icons, to match current banners, photos of people, their brand colors, to incorporate their tagline "A Mosaic Multiplying Movement" and for it to be "the coolest thing ever."

SOLUTIONS

1. Hierarchy was the key to incorporating all of the elements in a way that looked good: icons as the focus, the brand color mosaic as the secondary element, and push the photos of people to the background and use hand photos that draw less attention than faces
