Gubaidulina - Chaconne (1962)

I was inspired by Soviet-Russian contemporary composer Sofia Gubaidulina and her Piano solo 'Chaconne(1962)' after visiting Seong-Jin Cho's Chicago Symphony Orchestra. The piece, Chaconne, is absolutely not easy-listening music as its characteristics are dissonance(inconsistency of hexagon and rectangle), dramatic note shifting(falling from the top to the bottom), and dichotomy(red and blue). These characteristics were the stimulus for me to create this illustration.
