Watch Concept

I have a passion for automatic time pieces, and as I tried on my new Apple watch today - that passion got even bigger.

Out of thin air I got an idea for a new analogue (at least to me) watch face.

What do you guys think about this? Do you understand the concept at all, how the mechanics would work behind it etc?

This is just a mockup for the sake of the concept and is far from pixel perfect.
