Dashboard Insights: Ethically Sourced Peruvian Cacao and Superfo
The Product: The ecommerce website offers a range of ethically sourced Peruvian cacao and superfood products. These include healthy snacks that combine nuts and dried fruits, coated in dark chocolate. The focus is on using premium ingredients, with each product made using 70% Peruvian cacao obtained from the finest beans. The emphasis is on fairness and sustainability, with a commitment to sourcing organic fair trade certified ingredients.
Project Duration: 2 Months The project to develop the ecommerce website and its dashboard panel spanned a duration of two months. This timeframe encompassed various stages of design, development, testing, and deployment to ensure the successful implementation of the website and dashboard.
My Role: Senior UI/UX Designer As the Senior UI/UX Designer and leader of the project, my role involved taking the lead in the design and development of the dashboard panel. I was responsible for conceptualizing and creating an intuitive and visually appealing user interface that aligns with the brand identity and objectives. Additionally, I collaborated with the development team to ensure seamless integration of the dashboard panel with the existing ecommerce website. Throughout the project, I provided guidance, conducted user research, crafted wireframes and prototypes, and oversaw the overall user experience design to ensure a successful implementation.
The Problem: The challenge that prompted the development of the dashboard panel was the need for a centralized platform to manage and monitor the ecommerce website effectively. Without a dedicated dashboard, it was difficult to track crucial metrics, analyze user behavior, manage product inventory, and make data-driven decisions. The absence of a comprehensive solution hindered efficient operations and hindered the ability to scale and grow the business.
The Goal: The primary objective of creating the dashboard panel was to enhance the overall management and performance tracking of the ecommerce website. The goal was to provide a user-friendly interface that enables the team to gain insights into key metrics, such as sales performance, inventory levels, customer engagement, and website traffic. By having a centralized hub for monitoring and analysis, the aim was to improve decision-making processes, identify areas for improvement, and optimize the overall user experience.
