IN MY MINDS EYE - Loop animation project

This was an animation project I drew and edited for university. All students had to begin and end the short film with the same frame.

In the realm of our dreams, whether we are awake or asleep, reality takes on a touch of surrealism. Familiar elements from our waking lives, such as objects, people, and scenes, effortlessly metamorphose into something entirely different in the blink of an eye.

During my childhood, my mother would claim that anyone who spotted a bunny rabbit on the moon was undoubtedly in love. Intrigued by this notion, I would eagerly gaze at the moon, hoping to catch a glimpse of that lunar bunny. Once I finally discovered it, my mind would swiftly shift to other thoughts, with the bunny itself transforming into the shape of my next idea or tought.

Coincidentally, my last name is Coelho, which means bunny in Portuguese. Therefore, in the animation, as the creature bursts apart, you can see a chalk outline in the form of a human figure.
