An Interactive Suite of Design Principles

Introducing an immersive web experience that aims to educate users on various design principles in an engaging and interactive manner. This dynamic platform features an array of buttons, each distinguished by colour and icon, representing different design principles.

Upon clicking a button, users are treated to a transformative display where all buttons undergo visual changes that vividly illustrate the selected design principle. Through captivating animations and transitions, users witness firsthand how each principle impacts the overall aesthetics and functionality of the buttons.

To enhance the learning experience, the web experience incorporates voice narration. Users are guided through the journey of exploring design principles as the narration familiarises them with the names and concepts of each principle. This audio component adds an auditory dimension, ensuring a comprehensive and multisensory learning experience.

The carefully crafted user interface design prioritises clarity and simplicity, allowing users to intuitively interact with the buttons and observe the immediate visual transformations. By utilising distinct colours and icons for each design principle, the interface facilitates quick comprehension and recognition of the principles being showcased.

Designer's Notes

The creation process for this interactive web experience involved drafting the icons and arrangements in a notepad, followed by designing the buttons in Adobe Illustrator. A HTML webpage was then developed and styled using CSS. JavaScript was utilized to enable the animations and transformations of the buttons, bringing the interactive elements to life. The seamless integration of these components resulted in a captivating and educational web experience that effectively showcases the different design principles.
