Pyramoon

Hey Dribbble, I just drew a gray triangle.
I used the polygon tool, entered "3" and centered it on the page.

I call it Pyramoon.

I'm attracted to the symbolism of triangles: the triangle of incompatibilities in economics, the codex magica and the mystical meaning of pyramids (ask princess Leigh-Cheri about Camel cigarettes). I also like what triangles teach us about dialectic and how ideas are rarely binary. Triangles are an invitation to spirituality, creativity, and they're also damn pretty.

For the color, I stole a piece of the moon, extracted its pale glow, and spread it all over.

But because being pretty no longer cuts it, I added some science to it. This triangle was built using the principles of Pythagoras: a² + b² = c², so that each of its faces has the exact same length.

It is therefore indisputably perfect :)
