Another wallet idea

UI concept for yet another digital wallet. This solution would mimic more of the Self card functionality except users will utilize their Buy Now Pay Later accounts to build credit and record payment history.

Key Features:

Location tracking so users are notified when they are within a store that accepts in-person payments for their buy now pay later accounts.

Utilization Buffer to keep credit spending below the recommended amount for optimal credit scoring.

Biometric Payments

Why cant we pay with our faces? In an attempt to define the relationship between biometric authentication and unique account identifiers (cash tags or phone numbers), could we eliminate the need of QR codes?

Below is a concept for sending money or paying someone and finding their account via a face scan. Though this use case is ideal for an in-person exchange, it could possibly reduce the amount of time needed to fins QR codes or type in usernames. I would make this an additional feature to products like Zelle or Cash app, rather than it being a substitute to existing account look up functionalities.

The use of Augmented Reality could propel this idea even further.

Smart Cards

As physical currency continues to decline, it becomes necessary to modernize debit and credit cards accordingly. In my opinion, a debit card should be equipped with advanced features that allow it to be used independently from a cell phone. With this in mind, here is a concept for a smart card that incorporates biometric technology to access authenticated information, such as the account balance and potentially more.

To utilize this innovative card, users simply need to place their thumb over the biometric fingerprint sensor. This action will trigger the display of additional account information, providing a seamless and secure experience for consumers.
