As commercial illustrators, we have the privilege of working across various sectors, engaging in diverse projects. While advertising campaigns and full-buyout illustrations for brands, with their substantial budgets, are undeniably desirable, there's nothing like an editorial illustration to keep you sharp, with their typically rapid turnarounds. They can often be the most satisfying projects to work on. Here is one of my recent editorial illustrations, created for POLITICO Europe to coincide with an article titled "This City Shouldn't Be Here", which explores the idea that some European cities are in the "wrong" place from a climate point of view.
