Leo Cafe is not just a place for delicious plant-based food; it represents a lifestyle that is sustainable, compassionate, and environmentally conscious. I wanted to create a design that was as quirky as the client and to really add that connection to the earth. The project really got its legs from combining the coffee bean and lion’s mane for the logo. This felt like a real winner and inspired a lot of the other design decisions which came after it. The funky foliage not only adds some flair to the design but also reflects the brands Vegan mission. From the moment a customer walks in, they will experience a cohesive and immersive environment that aligns with their values and elevates their dining experience.

The design uses a combination of the typefaces ImaginaryFriend BB and Cardigan which pair with the funky hand drawn graphics to create a system which is both playful and unforgettable. These elements all come together through the fun colour scheme which combines lion’s yellow with cool midnight jungle blues.
