Happy Socks AD (photo project)

Photography school project - Company product AD

Our school photography class recently completed a project in which we were tasked with creating a photo montage product ad for HappySocks. HappySocks is a company that sells socks with fun and unique prints, so we were given creative freedom to come up with an eye-catching ad that would appeal to their target audience.

Idea Storming

The first step in the project was to brainstorm ideas for our ad. We looked at previous ideas for ads and discussed what worked well and what could be improved upon. We also considered the target audience and what types of images and concepts would appeal to them. We came up with a variety of ideas, ranging from simple product shots to more elaborate scenes featuring models and props.

Editing

Once we had settled on an idea, we began the editing process. We used Adobe Photoshop to create our montages, combining multiple images into a cohesive whole. This involved careful attention to detail, as we had to ensure that the colors, lighting, and composition of each image worked together to create a visually appealing final product.

Realization

Finally, we printed out our designs and presented them to the class. We discussed the strengths and weaknesses of each ad, and offered constructive feedback to help each other improve our work. Overall, the project was a great success - we were able to exercise our creativity and technical skills while also learning about the process of creating a product ad.

In conclusion, the HappySocks photography project was a fun and challenging assignment that allowed us to explore our creativity and gain valuable skills in photo editing and idea generation. I am proud of the work I accomplished and look forward to applying these skills in future projects.
