ResQ - First Aid App Design
ResQ is a rapid first aid app design that prioritizes people in need of medical attention by providing easy-to-navigate UI and multiple features.
ResQ is an app made to help users diagnose the injury, provide remedies to the same, directly purchase medical needs within no time, contact doctors for advice, and even dispatch the nearest ambulances with precise pinpoint locations.
This design was made by a team of two during an Inter-College UI/UX competition along with the research documentation.
Design Process
We first understood the root cause of why people were not giving first aid when it was needed the most. Turns out, they didn't know how to perform it.
We stepped into their shoes and thought of what can we, ourself do when we encounter an injured person or are injured and incorporated features keeping users in hindsight.
Built a straightforward interface they wouldn't waste the time of the user and the patient for the treatment to take place.
Use of Image processing to diagnose the injury to match with curated data sets to derive a treatment plan.
Provided language options at the start of the user journey along with visual treatment representation (Videos) and written steps for better understanding for the end user.
Ability to order the necessary items needed for the treatment using collaboration with sub 10 min delivery partner "BlinkIt".
Direct nearby Doctor Seach to have an end-to-end procedure for first aid treatment along with a quick ambulance ping and dispatch system.
