About the project

A few years ago, in the midst of Web3's hype, there was a lack of NFT marketplaces specifically tailored to musicians, bands, and singers involved in the music industry. As a result, these artists had to resort to existing platforms where their NFTs would be overshadowed by a multitude of different NFT types for different audiences. Additionally, the platforms available at that time did not facilitate social interactions.

Driven by the desire to establish a connection between artists and their fans, and to strengthen their bond by offering special and personalized merchandise as well as unforgettable experiences, our team at Pineapple Workshop embarked on a mission. This led to the creation of Block Records, an NFT marketplace exclusively focused on music-related NFTs. Within this platform, artists can mint various items such as concert tickets, albums, singles, and other digital merchandise. Additionally, artists have the ability to form groups with fans who have acquired their NFTs, enabling exclusive communication and sharing of special offers.

This was an ideation project.
