You Are What You Repeat Graphic

INSPIRATION:

This design is inspired by a recent episode of my favorite podcast, Manifest with Tori Desimone. "You are what you repeat" aligns with some of the transitions that are happening in my life as I've experienced some changes in scenery and everyday routines. I love this phrase because it reminds me that small, consistent action, even if it's imperfect (spoiler: it will be) will lead to big change and achievement of goals.

PROCESS:

I designed this in Procreate on my iPad Pro. I used a soft pastel brush to create the paper texture background. Then I chose a retro font for most of the text and used the Selection and Transformation tools to distort the letters to make them flow a bit more. I gave the text some dimension by duplicating layers, adding texture, and using Gaussian blur to create a slight shadow effect.
