Beauty Product CASE STUDY

X-lash lands in UAE

For the Regional launch of this very well-known brand, I had to respect very strict brand guidelines given by the UK HQ. Nevertheless I had to adapt the brand to the local market.

The process had to revolve around 2 pillars: BRAND IDENTITY and then UX Design.

So first I had to:

-Know the Brand foundation

-Assess the Current Identity

-Audit the regional Competition

-Define the local Visual Direction & Design Additional Elements

Secondly my UX Process was built as per the following steps:

- sketch the main wireframes and features

-draw the Prototype to see users interaction

- Validate for usability testing

-Build: it was used Wix platform

-QA Test overall

 - Launch.

As for the customer centric solution, I created a brand ambassador program via marketing influencers.

The main issue was to figure out a visual way, not only to stand up above the crowd of competitors but also to adapt the unique look of the brand to the regional perception of it and have it user centric.

Based on the findings, I created a list of priority components (the header and footer, for example) which all sites would need, followed by brand-specific requests. I defined, sketched out and user tested multiple variations of each component, suitable for the products, target demographic, number of creative assets and amount of editorial content.

Components were tailored for consumer beauty retail. For example, we included multiple carousel listing visually and textually the product’s benefits, especially considering that the the hero were the before & after pictures showing the results.

As for the customer centric solution, I created a brand ambassador program via marketing influencers.
