Website Redesign: Client Marketing Portal

Problems:

Accessibility of content within the previous design was a problem because people were unable to navigate clearly to find the content, the look and feel was dated, the Search was not able to cast a wider for results.

Who is it for?

Clients that want to educate themselves on our services and be able to market to their members our savings program.

Initial Discoveries:

I took it upon myself to first update the look and feel but first found it very necessary that an overall restructuring of the pages was necessary for categorizing items in an easier to follow way. There were two types of content- one for the client and one for marketing to the client's members. So, that's how I divided up the pages in the site map and menu.

Added Functionality

To solve for Search it requires just having more acceptable tags, categories, and like terms being able to retrieve the content.

Another idea is to have a Filter function that allows us to give the user the ability to click and engage within the site for what content they're interested in.

Still a work in progress but so far this has vastly improved the idea of what this tool is for and how to better use it.
