Menu panel interaction

Behold for this next level menu panel animation.

I wanted to create some focus and not use the classic hover based behavior that would have overlapped the menu panel with the rest of the UI. I also did not want to use the popular background blur that everyone uses. So I went for this light/dark switch, I think it doe the job well enough 🤷‍♂️
