&Beyond Typography

Museo Sans was one of the fonts that &Beyond was already using. Although the font itself is really beautiful, they were using it at its lightest weight and similar sizing on everything. In most cases there were legibility and hierarchy of information issues, especially on the website, and the use of a single font was visually uninteresting.

I chose The Questa Project for serif typefaces to use throughout the brand – Questa Grade for elegance in large headings or numbering and Questa for body text, heading and pull-quotes. Combined with Museo Sans and beautiful typesetting – drop caps, captions, coloured sections, pull-quotes and staggered headings – the system provided endless typographic opportunities with visual interest, clear hierarchy of information and a luxury feeling.
