The goal was to update the visual style because the product was created without the designer's involvement. I did some research first: an analysis of competitors to identify best practices. Users interviews to find out their goals, frequency of app usage, and pain points. Then I created a user flow and prototypes to discuss with the team. After several iterations and tests in Maze to discover users behavior and see if we missed something on our part, the team approved the mockups. After that, I created graphics instructions, a component library, and handed the team the mockups for further development. The project was done in Figma using the atomic design method.
