The phrase "Sare Gardane" in Farsi refers to stores or sellers who sell goods at a high price without any logical reason. This term refers to robbers who rob travelers on the road. In order to surprise the passengers, they stand at the back of a road neck, where they cannot be seen, and lurk for the passengers, and as soon as the passengers pass the bend when they see the thieves, it is too late and there is no chance to escape. In Farsi, these road necks are called Gardane, and the place where the thieves lurk is called Sare Gardane.
