NFT.com allows consumers to collect, display, and trade NFTs through their websites. They’re in the process of building the hub for all things Web3.

The Challenge

With a website as large as NFT.com, trying not to create too many unnecessary screens is a must. Modals help solve this issue to a large degree. Making these modals both user friendly and easy to understand is mandatory due to the limited screen space they provide. Alongside modals, the NFT cards are the most common component on the site, so we needed to nail their design.

The Solution

A large part of NFT.com’s website is the account creation process. Every user will go through it, sometimes even multiple times. We wanted to make this process extremely quick, easy, and straightforward. In order to do this, we used modals. This makes the whole account creation process streamlined and user friendly. The NFT cards we designed are extremely complex and simple at the same time. There is tons of functionality build into the cards when hovering over them, but the design is clean and minimalist. This makes for an unbothered scrolling experience, but also allows for a detailed look at an NFT the user is interested in, without clicking to a new page.
