Groundwork Logo Concept

Trying to rethink our logo and would value some feedback from the community.

1. Colors are from various divisions/products, do they work?
2. Position of the hexagon is dead center, is it weird?

Our existing logo works, it just lacks color and a bit of refinement. I'm trying to modernize it a bit.
