SDG 14 - Life Below Water
"Every ocean is created by putting single drops together".
SDG 14 aims to conserve, sustainably use and develop the global marine resources and the various life forms they contain. It is a colossal challenge standing in our planet's way to maintain its balance.
Marine ecosystem protection, conservation and sustenance need meticulous planning at every step because when marine life lacks balance, it affects the global climate tremendously, thus creating a downward spiral.
The sustenance of one life form sometimes comes at the cost of another. The situation is complicated because billions depend on marine and coastal biodiversity for their livelihoods. But marine resources cover 70 percent of our planet, and our responsibility is to manage and protect them proactively.
