Milk Jug Lamp
A quick and simple, albeit cheesy, light - but it's my favorite.
This thing is really easy to make - just a hole cut on the handle side of a white (not translucent) milk jug, and a bulb screwed into a basic wired socket; that's it.
I have to say, though, it is the nicest light I have. VERY smooth light, easily able to read by, even with only a 480 lumen bulb, and no big hotspot to blind you.
