NO money, no loGO
Poking fun at myself when clients default on payment for logo design jobs, I've made something out of dry humour.
Cunning tactics lure unsuspecting designers into furnishing free designs, often sugar-coated with innocent sounding requests for "ideas" and "samples".
There are telltale signs. These clients genuinely like your past work. They are also in an unexplainable "rush" to get things done "yesterday". Why were there no plans catered for logo design in the very first place usually remains a mystery?
But alas, their appreciation of your design talent is not matched by any show of mutual commitment by way of deposit payments or final payments. They just run away with your ideas.
For these clients, I have only one message - NOGO (NO money, no loGO).
