Alfred-like todo / notepad

I have always wanted to make a simple todo list app that looked like a notepad & was all keyboard controlled. I like the idea of something being as integrated into my OS workflow as Alfred or Quicksilver. This is really just a rough first pass to ponder the metaphores. We'll see where it takes me :)

I know that it is just *another* todo app... but I think of todo apps like watches or shoes... they're just tools that could have many different styles. They could be as simple or as complex as we make them... and they could be really personal.
