AllYouKnead, the responsive recipe & baking app

Problem

Baking should be accessible and easy to learn for people of all backgrounds, beginners and experienced alike. There are people that are intimidated by baking because they are forgetful or don’t think they are able to dedicate the time, when they only lack the resources.

Solution

AllYouKnead simplifies the process of baking through digestible content and easy-to-track recipe progress with accessible UI. The app makes it simple to track their baking progress, while keeping in mind their wants & needs in the kitchen.

Results

AllYouKnead features the following:

‍• Users do not need to be logged in to use AllYouKnead, and are able to search for  recipes freely as soon as they open the app.

• There are a broad number of categories when searching for recipes, and the most common are listed at the top of the screen for easy access.

• Alternatively, users can use the advanced search to filter available recipes by type, difficulty, dietary restrictions, and duration.

• When a user selects a recipe, it is organized by ‘prep’ and ‘instructions’ tabs for ease of access. Ingredients can be viewed in different measurements, yields, and can be modified by substitutions. Nutrition info and tools are also provided.
