League of Lexicon Spot Illustrations by Steven Noble

Joshua Blackburn commissioned Steven Noble to illustrate some Iconographic illustrations for a game. Framing the game’s quiz heart is a light, quest-based narrative, in which each player picks an “adventuring lexicographer” out to collect legendary artifacts, like Shakespeare’s carved ivory seal. Each illustration is hand crafted in a scratchboard woodcut style.
