Make Em' Swiss Cheese
For this project, an animated interactive poster was designed to be used with Artivive, an augmented reality tool that allows artists to create new dimensions of digital art.
The assignment was an open prompt, which became another opportunity to feed my curiosity and share my love for history and historical events. The subject of the poster I chose to focus on was post-war recruitment by the newly established United States Army Air Corps (USAAC). After World War I, early aviation became an increasingly important part of modern warfare, but not everyone was convinced. The independent military organization struggled with budget finances, trained leadership, and aviator recruitment. This poster was designed to act as any other recruitment poster that could be found during the era, but with a digital interactive flare.
