Mollo.io : Design Voice Chat Controls for Social App

Mollo.io is an app that connects gamers through text, chat, and community features. The project solely focuses on redesigning the app's voice controls to improve the user experience.

Users must join a voice channel in just two clicks, be provided with visible controls, and be able to easily identify their channel and leave or disconnect from it, regardless of their location. Furthermore, sound controls must be enhanced to allow users to adjust the volume or mute others based on their hardware.

To guarantee the success of the redesign, I left no stone unturned in conducting extensive user research on early adopters and focus groups. As a fellow gamer, I validated the initial research assumptions and conclusions.

Based on our research and evaluation of the existing interface, it was determined that the voice controls must remain on the left side of the interface to provide easy access for users.
