Reflection (abstract floral illustration)

Taking a mini break from pattern. This motif sure can be part of pattern as well. Right now I am looking for how to do it. So for now, keeping it till illustration point.

Can be considered reflection (symbolically). What is inside, got reflected on the outside!

While I was still drawing the motifs, another name came into my mind – ‘from ruin to rebuild’ as nature takes matter in its own hand. Time repairs. It’s okay not to be okay. You can be not okay and still can move. Being okay is not something always in my control. But moving is in my control. Okayness eventually catches up with you.

There is a song I am listenning on loop mode these days. There comes this lyric ‘Who said that I will be okay?’ at one point. The way of singing this line gets me every time at my core. Wearing a ‘I am strong’ mask makes people think that I don’t feel the pain. I am tired of the mask. It’s time to let it go. For forever.
