What is it?
The Virtual Training Tool is designed to enhance the tactical capabilities of soldiers in small groups. By utilizing both 2D and 3D environments with accurate maps and the tool helps soldiers reach the next level in their training.
Responsibilities
I had the pleasure of creating a new brand and establishing a structure for the Virtual Training Tool. Alongside branding, I developed a roadmap for version 1.0 and kickstarted a design system for the tool. It was a rewarding experience to help bring structure and consistency to the tool, ensuring that it's not only functional but also visually appealing and easy to use.
Inspiration
The logo mark for the Virtual Training Tool is inspired by a bird's eye view of a maze or labyrinth, which represents the accurate maps and objectives we create for soldiers and servicemen to improve their tactical abilities. Just like a maze, our training tool is designed to be resolved by finding the best possible solution, helping to improve their speed and ability to plan and resolve any situation they may encounter on the ground.
The approach
When designing the logo for the brand, I made sure to consider its various use cases. It was crucial that the logo was not only suitable for virtual platforms but also adaptable to real-life settings such as seminars and expos. To achieve this, I carefully selected colors, typography, and graphic elements that would work well across different mediums. It was very important from the beginning to create a vibe that is modern and have a serious tone to it. Our approach was to prioritize technology and position ourselves primarily as a tech company, offering a tool to servicemen across various industries. This ensured that the logo was not only aesthetically pleasing but also functional and versatile, effectively representing the brand in any context.
