Bastet Egyptian Goddess

A final project for a vector illustration course. I represented Bastet, the goddess of cats, the sun, of the East, of fire, of love, intoxication, music and dancing, joy, celebration, fertility, secrets, magic, and sex.

I had a lot of fun illustrating the feline species found in ancient Egypt, such as the Egyptian Mau, Serval cat, Sand cat and Abyssinian cat. I learned to use some new textures, I think they are a little extra depth to the work.
