The Challenge
One of the biggest challenges over the past years was the introduction of HR (Human Resources) functionalities. A perfect fit for our already existing salary tooling and by far the most requested addition to our product.
Introducing HR features such as time tracking and the ability to submit expenses bring on new challenges, accessibility being the biggest one.
The Result
A completely re-designed environment for employees. Resulting in a mobile companion app. By moving away from the restrictions of a desktop environment, we were able to improve massively on accessibility.
Now employees can submit expenses and keep track of their hours anywhere they want, whenever they want. Simply by opening up their Employes app.
We've build an entire new design system, containing components that scale on both mobile and desktop devices. We've managed to improve not only the accessibility but also the entire user experience for employees.
