location:live is a company specializing in finding and planning spaces for brands to convey their message effectively. When the 2012 Olympics came to London, the founder and CEO, Neil Jones, took it upon himself to find spectacular spaces for brand activations, and he succeeded. A decade later, location:live has transformed its services into an online marketplace called lo:live, serving brands and agencies needing space and location providers with inspiring locations.
Based on a recommendation, location:live requested COAX Software to take over and expedite its development from a previous development partner. COAX had to understand location: live's objectives, co-create a backlog, and accelerate the development of lo:live. We successfully grasped the project, resolved critical issues, and launched the first major release in just four months.
As location:live had identified several key elements that needed addressing, our team set to work to improve the code quality throughout the build, implement a robust testing approach, and create comprehensive technical documentation.
More specifically, due to complex business logic and dependencies, COAX identified unclear user screens, required clarifications, and unindexed admin panel pages.
Additionally, the team created a risk register to identify internal and external risks and describe a solution if one of the risks occurs to reduce threats to project delivery. Thanks to this efficient collaboration, COAX and location:live developed a market-leading product with a significantly upgraded user experience.
We focused on refining and developing the existing solution for public release. Now, we are improving core user journeys by enhancing various features:

2️⃣ refined results: filter live availability, create lists, and plan campaigns
3️⃣ quick booking: simple, convenient booking journeys for hirers
4️⃣ provider control: list locations, manage inventory, accept bookings
