Portfolio

Hey there,

It is told that we learn from our past mistakes. And that's true. For the past two weeks I've been working on re-designing my portfolio.

I struggled with creating my portfolio for past 5 years. There was never the right time for it. But even if I had time, I always had a different idea how should it look and feel. It's was a never-ending story, which I guess you all experienced.

On the beginning of this year, my goal was to create and develop my personal website. It took me about two months and it wasn't easy. I had already over 300 works, I still wasn't sure about the look and I needed to develop it. So after two months the website was online.
But it didn't take long that I noticed I did a mistake, by showing only visual work. There was no story behind my designs, no process, just images.

For that reason I now focused on:
- presenting my work as a case study
- showing real-world work, even if it got problems
- less design exercises, more in-depth case studies
- talking about results
- create a simple look with easy navigation
- show my passion by talking about challenges, my approach, process and how I did measure success or failure

I'm aware I might not get it right for the first time, it wasn't easy to create a case study for a work that I did already a year ago. But I did try to do my best.

Let me know what you think, any feedback is really appreciated.
