Random Word Generator Project #17: "Killer"

What a morbid word for a logo! Maybe you could do "Killer Abs" or "Killer Whale", but "Killer" kind of deserves some knife or weapon in the word. Then, inspiration struck: there are six original weapons to the Clue Board Game, which correspond to the six letters in "Killer"!

I tried out Blender to make this design. I am by no means a Blender expert, but I wanted to make the letters look fairly similar to the board game pieces.

"E" had to be more rope-like, rather than styling the plastic piece... but, this makes it look a little more natural, and it kind of represents the fact that we lost the rope game piece and had to replace it with a piece of yarn.

"K" was also tricky. Wrenches don't look like that. But, other than that, every other letter fell into place perfectly, using the "i" as the candlestick, the first "l" as the lead pipe, the second "l" as the knife, and the "r" as a revolver.

(Also wanted to give the rope some scraggly fibers, but my computer likes to crash with particle systems. I'm still experimenting with Blender, so hopefully I'll find a solution to that.)
