Social media desktop interface | Lazarev.

Hey there, Dribbblers ๐Ÿ‘‹

We're dropping by with a fresh shot โ€” the final design concept in our series for social media ๐Ÿ’ƒ

It's no surprise that mobile usage of social media is increasing while desktop is declining. But why is that? Sometimes it's just more convenient to check on what's happening with your friends on the next tab over on your computer. When youโ€™re working, for instance, haha ๐Ÿ˜‚ Very quick! Well, we're not saying you should be scrolling through social media at work, though! That's a big no-no!ย

The truth is, most social media interfaces on desktop are so far from user-friendly, which is why people tend to stick to their mobile devices. So we kept this in mind when working on our concept.

The designers added two sidebars that frame the main feed, allowing users to easily keep tabs on the latest news and notifications. We used minimalist icons and a vibrant purple to catch people's attention and create a sleek and clean vibe, just like we did with the smartphone format.ย
