A Classic Art Store with a Modern Sensibility

I wanted to create a brand for an art store that was classic yet timely. The main design elements I used to communicate these qualities were the font, colors, and web design. I used the font Broadway, where the thick, heavyset letters create an established tone while the curved serifs lend a playful quality. I developed a color scheme of vibrant reds and blues with gray accents to convey a blend of energy and restraint. By combining simple illustrations with images of products and people, the store presents itself as a reliable source for all your artistic needs with a modern touch that resonates with digitally-oriented consumers.
