A Hero section must answer three questions for the user:

What is this website about?

What am I going to get out of this Web site?

And how do I get it?

Remember to set up the following in every Hero section:

Hierarchy - different levels of hierarchy

Focal Point - an image

Headline - must be visually the most noticeable text in the hero section

If you can answer all of these questions, your website is on track in helping guide your users to the information they are seeking much more quickly.
