Spotify Lion
I created this low poly illustration for Spotify's 2015 presence at The Cannes Lions Festival. A lion appears in the festival’s name, logo and creative award winners at the festival are given a lion shaped award. Spotify's new visual toolkit, launched in early 2015, includes circular, triangular and rectangular shapes we call "bursts." Throughout the Spotify at Cannes Lions event space and brand communications I used the triangular burst, so it seemed fitting to use a low poly illustration as another way to interpret the triangle. This illustration was used with the tagline "Soundtrack your creativity" in print ads within festival programs, on tote bags passed out to guests at the space, and as wall art in our garden.
