Spraakwater - Logo

For Top Notch, the biggest hiphop music label in the Netherlands, I was assigned to create the logo for their lyrics-based platform Spraakwater. On Spraakwater, fans of the music can look up their favourite song’s lyrics, which are decoded and commented by the artist himself and feature real-time Twitter feedback from fans and artists alike.

The brief asked for a logo that would step away from traditional hiphop type and embed a more handwritten identity with a reference to classic literature.
