Calling in Our Corals

Calling in Our Corals is a project which uses AI and hydrophones to monitor coral reefs worldwide. People can help train Google's AI by identifying marine sounds from reefs around the globe. The project aims to identify different species' sounds automatically to understand ocean diversity and protect natural resources.

I worked with a small team that created this project for Google Arts & Culture, which was displayed at CoP27 in Egypt. The app is also available on Google's website - this was showcased on Google's homepage around the world.
