What's Peaceful To You? Spread

What's Peaceful to You? is a magazine spread focusing on things that make people feel at peace. My take on this was to make a spread about music, since it calms me down whenever I need it. Specifically, 80s pop music. It takes my mind off of any worries I once had and when I surround myself with it, it fills me with calm and happiness. I chose to use bright colors because that translates as "80s", along with the neon car illustration I chose to pair it with, which my peers related to Tron. For the What's Peaceful to You? title, I chose to take out certain colors from the illustration and bring them in, making the piece even more cohesive.
