Designing a publication for techwear; the line between aesthetic and functional clothing.

Given the opportunity to create my own fictitious mini-zine, I chose to develop Cyber Edge, a mini-zine about techwear fashion, where it came from, where to purchase it, and some of my personal style choices on how I wear it.

approach

I first approached this project by first gathering inspiration. After finding many sources and lots of examples of layout and type I was ready to start. Creating a fashion based magazine was exciting to me, being relatively interested in fashion. I could not wait to explore the concept more, as I have been intrigued with this type of fashion for a while.

I had to keep in mind that there was a deadline and I had to meet specific requirements. The target audience was young adults who are interested in alternative fashion, but this magazine’s reach could also extended to anyone interested in this type of fashion.
