WIP: Experimental Easing in AE

Messing around with some code tonight and discovered a new way to control keyframe easing. It helps create brand new "kinds" of easing with animation results that are silky smooth.

// If you're not a keyframe nerd the following is gonna be deathly boring haha //

Since you are still only working with 2 keyframes (or whatever you have on the property) key interpolation is still calculated normally by the program. The top graph is the actual animated property and as you can see the Easing can get pretty insane now. From initial tests this tool is fun and powerful. You can get some insane "snaps" and very interesting anticipation, exaggerations and follow-throughs using it.

What is the most interesting portion is that you can still change your original keyframes or adjust their easing WHILE retaining the new easing you've created with the graph at the bottom.

Right now, I couldn't even call it a beta - but something I plan on working on soon. This is 100 percent a tool that will be released with the upcoming update to Motion3!
